Channel Tools

Terms of Service

Last updated: October 12, 2026

These terms apply to the Channel Tools browser extension, its service and this website ("Channel Tools", "we"). By installing the extension or buying credits you agree to them.

1. What Channel Tools does

Channel Tools helps you prepare YouTube uploads in YouTube Studio: it suggests titles, descriptions and tags, fills them into Studio, and provides a thumbnail editor with optional AI edits. It never publishes or saves anything in YouTube for you; you review the result and decide what to publish. Channel Tools is not affiliated with or endorsed by YouTube or Google.

2. Credits

3. Your account key

Your account key gives access to your credits. Keep it private. Anyone with the key can use its credits, and we cannot restore credits used by someone you shared it with.

4. Your content

You keep all rights to your videos, images and text. You give us permission to process the frames, photos and instructions you send only to provide the service. You are responsible for having the rights to what you send and publish, and for checking AI suggestions and images before you use them. AI output can be inaccurate or resemble existing works.

5. Acceptable use

Do not use Channel Tools to create unlawful, infringing, deceptive or harmful content, to break YouTube's policies, or to attack, overload or reverse engineer the service. We may refuse requests or suspend an account key that is used this way.

6. Availability and changes

YouTube Studio changes over time and parts of Channel Tools may stop working until we update them. We work to fix problems quickly but do not guarantee the service will always be available. We may change or end features. If we plan to stop the service entirely, we will give at least 30 days' notice in the extension so you can use your remaining credits.

7. Disclaimer and liability

Channel Tools is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, including lost views, revenue or channel standing, and our total liability is limited to what you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.

8. Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, United States. Nothing in them limits rights you have under the consumer laws of where you live.

9. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. We will change the date above and, for significant changes, tell you in the extension. Continuing to use Channel Tools after a change means you accept it.
